Of all the places to find your wedding hair and makeup artist...Amber and I found each other on Reddit. I replied to a post of her's about her upcoming Joshua Tree elopement, then she added me on Instagram and the rest is history. It's actually kinda crazy because at this time I was still working in California while my husband and I were moving to Phoenix, Arizona. So what are the odds I was able to do her bridal trial in Phoenix! Because she lived here, too! Instagram is where our friendship really blossomed! We bonded over each other's story posts about self care, Bachelor Nation, and funny memes. Everything she would share I couldn't help but reply, "OMG me too!!!". After our bridal trial together I told her she was really stuck with me now, whether she liked it or not. How many things we share in common is mind blowing. Almost a year later I am still replying to her Instagram stories saying "how are we the same person!!!'. On leap day of 2019 I met Amber in the California desert of Joshua Tree and had the privilege of being one of very few people to be a part of her and Brad's magical, intimate day. Amber wears no makeup on a daily basis, so we went for my favorite go to look - light, glowy, natural makeup. We loved the look we created and are happy to report it lasted through all of her happy tears that day. For her hair we went for an effortless half up. She has a TON of hair, so we used extra hairspray and love to get her beach waves to last all throughout the day (and through out all the wind her wedding day brought!). Amber's a very special client to me and I know we will be friends for life, so I'm extra excited to share this one with y'all. xoxo
