I had the pleasure of getting Tayler ready for her vow exchange and engagement photo shoot. Tayler and I had so much fun chatting away while I did her hair and makeup, the time just flew by! She showed me lots of beautiful inspiration photos from Pinterest. We did a combination of a few photos to make a custom look just for her. Like many of my clients, Tayler is a very natural girl. She rarely does anything to her hair, and is a mascara-and-go kinda gal. I really wanted to focus on her winged eyeliner, lashes, and lots of highlight on her smooth porcelain skin. For hair we wanted simple, beachy waves. She never curls her hair, so she was so super excited when she saw the final product.
Tayler and her now husband live in, and were married in Texas, so unfortunately I couldn't be her wedding day stylist. But we talked a lot about her wedding day look, and our session together turned into a little bit of a bridal trial. I showed her a few different ways she could potentially wear her hair, and gave her some tips for natural wedding day makeup. She ended up loving her look so much she requested I send her the photos I took on my iphone so she could share them with her wedding day stylist!
Tayler, Phil & her amazing photographer Anna headed out for quite the adventure. They went trekking through one of Sedona's most beautiful and most popular hikes, Cathedral Rock. Anna captured the most incredible shots of the couple cruising around the rocks in their formal wear. She captured the most beautiful photos of their intimate vow exchange. Tayler & Phil planned to only do traditional vows at their wedding ceremony, so they wanted to share their private vows with each other before hand and their photographer came out with the brilliant idea to do them here, and on film. I don't think they could have chose a better spot. You will see in these photos how absolutely stunning the Sedona red rocks are, especially with a deeply in love couple, sharing their deepest feelings with one another. I loved that Tayler chose a stunning white dress and a gorgeous protea bouquet for the day, so during their intimate vow exchange she really looked like a beaming bride.
